So it looks like I am wrong about Georgia. McCain seems to be handily winning there. But I wonder if Atlanta has come in.
Ohio currently has Obama ahead by 200,000, which is a large number for McCain to overcome.
Richard Cordray, my old friend from my younger office-seeking days, easily won Ohio Attorney General. Congratulations Mr. Attorney-General-elect.
But what surprises me most in the results tonight are that Obama is currently only behind McCain by 100,000 with 3 million counted so far in Texas!
And the Democrats have picked up New Hampshire with Jean Shaheen defeating incumbent John Sununu.
But so far the biggest upset, which I think I predicted, is Kay Hagan defeats Senator Elizabeth Dole. I once was a great fan of Liddy, but when her husband ran against President Clinton and she turned into a nasty politiker, I totally turned on her.
Its nearly 9:00PM eastern and they're about to call another whole slew of races.
My current electoral count is
Obama- 103
McCain- 54.
