Secede from the Union?

So I read something this morning that some folks in Texas and West Virginia, among others, have expressed interest in seceding from the United States because the majority of Americans spoke and reelected President Obama.  I say to those thinking they can make it as independent nations on their own , have at it.  But please don't ask OUR commander in chief for military assistance  when a powerhouse coalition of Belgium, Turks and Caicos, Luxembourg, and Vatican City annihilate your redneck regiments and show you REAL socialism!   I'm just saying. . .
