Stunning, but 38 year incumbent Rep Nick Rahall, has been defeated for his congressional seat.
This is bad overall for West Virginia. With the death a few years back of Senator Robert Byrd, and this years retirement of Senator Jay Rockefeller, there will be NO ONE with tenure of clout to bring money to a state desperately needing money.
This is the worst thing for West Virginia.
